FEES and DUES

WHAT ARE DUES FOR?

The Taoist Tai Chi Society is a non-profit charitable society and charges dues to join and maintain membership in the Society as amens to cover operational expenses. Students do not pay for the number of classes they attend; instead their dues support the Branch and the Society. All instructors are trained volunteers; the Society has fewer than ten paid employees. The dues pay the rent, office supplies, telephone, photocopying etc. Some of the funds are distributed to other charitable causes.

REGISTRATION FEE

There is a $20. registration fee on joining. Each registrant receives a membership card which gives access to classes at the Branch and to any Taoist Tai Chi location throughout the world. A registrant also receives the official blue Branch T-shirt. So long as the registrant attends regularly, this registration remains in effect. When a person does not attend for over 12 months and wishes to re-register another registration fee of $20 is owed.
